Biography
Adam Hamawy is a surgeon and business owner who served in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2011. He is running in the Democratic primary for New Jersey's 12th Congressional District. U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) endorsed Hamawy, whom he operated on in 2004 after an attack on her helicopter in Iraq.
