Biography
Aaron D. Ford (born 1972) is an American lawyer and Democratic politician currently serving as Nevada's 34th Attorney General since 2019. He is a candidate for governor in the 2026 election, having previously served as Nevada Senate Majority Leader and being the first Black Attorney General in the state. Raised in a working-class family, he relied on public assistance and earned five degrees while raising his children.
