Biography
Maureen C. O'Connell is the current County Clerk of Nassau County, New York, first elected to the seat in 2006. She previously served in the New York State Assembly from 1998 to 2005 and as deputy mayor and trustee for the Incorporated Village of East Williston. O'Connell holds a bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's College, a law degree from St. John's University, and a nursing degree from Flushing Hospital School of Nursing.
